MERRY CHRISTMAS

This week Payap University is conducting two main activities.  The first is a meeting of all personnel on Wednesday, December 14 at 1:30 p.m. in the Dr. Boonthong Poocharoen Assembly Hall.  This is an opportunity for the President to report on operational outcomes in the past and to make announcements on various topics for general information as well as a chance for anyone to make suggestions or to ask questions about matters that are unclear or in doubt, so that better understanding might lead to greater cooperation and higher productivity for every unit.  I therefore call on all personnel to willingly attend.

On December 16 the university will be holding our Christmas celebration from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.  This year Christmas coincides with a period of mourning for His Majesty King Rama IX as well as a time of joy at the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ.  We are conducting a simple celebration that still encompasses the true meaning of Christmas.  There will be a worship service followed by lunch provided by each of the university units.  This year we will dispense with the afternoon’s usual fun and games.

This is the last week of 2016 before we adjourn for more than two weeks.  I hope each of you can spend time with your families and undertake valuable service for the community.  Christmas is a season of giving.  So it is a chance to think of others rather than ourselves.  Please rest up fully, so that you can return to work full of energy in the coming New Year.  May the Lord God bless each of you and give you peace in God throughout this Christmas season.
