In this year 2018 is entering the 45th year of being the outstanding university that has produced the competent graduates in various professions for serving society on the principle of “Create decent and successful professionals” adhering to “THRUTH-SERVICE” according to Payap University’s aspiration for which I and the administration, faculty members and all personnel will strive to sustain Payap University as the sanctuary that fulfils applicable knowledge and exchange of experiences among students, faculty members and various experts in numerous sectors from around the world amidst the creative learning atmosphere to nurture and promote your children’s intellectual growth as the well-rounded human beings responding to Payap University’s three significant standpoints which are: Creating learners who possess the Top Quality Scholarship; Ethical and Caring Community; and being the source of truly International Learning.
Payap University strives for overall innovative education that emphasizes on opening to the world’s knowledge without borders and limitation, creating the truly international learning atmosphere for both Thai and international students who are studying in the international curricula, bilingual curricula, Thai curricula and curricula that use foreign languages as learning/teaching mediums such as English language, Chinese language, Korean language and Japanese language. Payap University currently has faculty members and foreign experts from more than 20 countries, and international students from over 30 countries from which creating the interactions that link languages, cultures, beliefs, societies and politics by which linking all people to become truly international. Payap University has been accepted by many international institutes such as the Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia (ACUCA), the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL), United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia, American Schools and Hospitals Abroad (USAID/ASHA), the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (USVA), EU-SHARE and Erasmus Plus, etc.
Faculty members of Payap University have created opportunities for the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) for our students by cooperating with learning institutions, organizations and business enterprises that are famously well-known both domestically and internationally for the internship programs during their study. Our students also participate in the actual research and development of the new products of various business enterprises. Our university has exchanged students’ programs with overseas universities. We consistently innovate and develop new curricula to fulfil societies’ needs: the curriculum of Chinese Communication for Salespersons; the curriculum of Lifelong Learning for Elderlies; curriculum for Assistant Nurse; the curriculum of Integrating the Business Administration’s Strength and Sociology in response to the societies of the new generation people who wish to become business entrepreneurs; and the curriculum of Thai Communication for Foreigners who need to conduct daily communications and various businesses and investments.
